Big enough to deliver. Small enough to care

I studied automotive mechanics in Greece and gained my first experience at a Subaru dealership and in pre-delivery inspections for SEAT and Saab. At 30, I moved to Boston to be with my wife and started working at an independent repair shop on my very first day in the U.S.

Determined to become the best mechanic I could be, I spent extra hours working, studying, and learning from experienced technicians. I later joined Mercedes-Benz of Boston, where I spent three years building my skills through hands-on work, classes, and certifications, becoming one of the dealership’s most productive technicians.

That’s where I met Tasos. In 2019, we opened Boston Mechanics together. Today, alongside my technical work, I oversee the shop’s day-to-day operations and make sure our customers feel welcome, informed, and comfortable asking questions. I enjoy getting to know the people behind the cars and building relationships that last beyond a single repair.

I started working in automotive repair in Greece in 1996, learning alongside my cousin, an automotive electrician and my first mentor, while attending evening technical school. That experience gave me a strong foundation in automotive electrical systems and shaped the way I approach my work.

I later worked on electrical and electronic installations for race cars competing in the Historic Acropolis Rally and the Greek Hill Climb Championship. Racing taught me patience, precision, and the importance of every detail. In 2006, I opened my first repair shop in Athens, which continues to operate today.

After moving to the U.S. in 2017, I joined Mercedes-Benz of Boston, where I met Pavlos. In 2019, we opened Boston Mechanics together. After three decades in the industry, I still believe in doing every job carefully and treating each customer with honesty and respect.
